
Quang Ngai General Hospital received 01 set of Esco Airstream Class III Biological Safety Cabinet and 10 sets of endotracheal intubation equipment with video with value at 1.22 billion VND
Accordingly, Quang Ngai General Hospital received the medical equipment package with the total value of $1.22 billion including 01 set of Esco Airstream Class III Biological Safety Cabinet which was imported from Indonesia and 10 sets of USA Infinium endotracheal intubation equipment with video. Meanwhile, Quang Ngai Hospital for Women and Children was awarded 01 set of blood and infusion fluid warmer cabinet, 3 sets of SP02 device measures and 10 sets of phototherapy for jaundice worth 510 million VND. The total support for both hospitals is $77,359 (equivalent to 1,787 billion VND).
Speaking at the ceremony, one of the Quang Ngai province’s representative expressed their sincere thanks to these two useful medical support packages. These are essential equipment for the medical team as well as patients during the examination and treatment processes, contributing to help the province's medical centers increasingly improve the service quality for patients.

Among the devices awarded, the Esco Airstream Class III Biological Safety Cabinet is the highest biosafety cabinet level which helps to protect the user against BSL 1-2-3-4 level infectious agents, protect to the environment, specimens and prevent harmful agents. This is a completely sealed cabinet, ventilated through a HEPA filter, equipped with manipulating glove ports – pass box or 2-door sterilization device, used for manipulation, samples of highest risk, biological hazards, bacteria, virulence and transmission hazards. Besides, the Infinium endotracheal intubation uses an advanced camera combined with a high-resolution monitor for successful intubation for the first time and avoids possible complications during the process.

Previously, Doosan Vina and CAU awarded 58 devices worth about $271,370 to Quang Ngai General Hospital. An ultrasound machine worth 520 million VND awarded to Hospital for Women and Children in 2019. Besides, these two hospitals have also been sponsoring the training programs for medical teams alternatively in Korea and Vietnam for 9 years, from 2017 to 2025.
Since its establishment in 2006 up to now, Doosan Vina has continuously implemented its community responsibilities with a series of social charity programs, mainly focusing on 3 areas including health, education and house.
