Vietnam’s logistics growth holds not only local significance but also strategic importance for global supply chains. Situated in the heart of Southeast Asia, Vietnam has an extensive coastline and a well-established network of seaports that connect with major Asian transportation routes. This positioning facilitates smooth movement of goods among major markets such as China, Japan, South Korea, ASEAN, and beyond.

Vietnam is rapidly emerging as the “new logistics hub” of the region, driving companies like Maersk to expand and invest in infrastructure that serves customers with greater flexibility and efficiency.

Strategic Location at Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park

Maersk's bonded warehouse is located in SLP Park, Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park in Hai Phong, an ideal gateway for international transport in Northern Vietnam. Close to the seaport, this warehouse not only optimizes international goods movement but also integrates seamlessly with Maersk’s warehousing network and the soon-to-be-completed Lach Huyen port project, developed in collaboration with strategic partners APM Terminals and Hateco. This will strongly support faster import-export processes, reduce costs, and meet customer needs.

Modern Technology Ensures Safety and Efficiency

The bonded warehouse is equipped with advanced technologies, including a modern racking system and an inventory control process utilizing high-accuracy automated barcoding. Maersk has also focused on energy efficiency, installing natural light roofing panels, LED lighting, and motion sensors in office and public areas to significantly reduce electricity consumption.

Additionally, the warehouse meets the highest safety standards with an automatic sprinkler system and 24/7 security monitoring. With these facilities, Maersk's bonded warehouse not only meets storage requirements but also provides optimized storage and distribution processes, enabling businesses to manage goods more flexibly.
