Con Dao also marked progress with the inauguration of the district’s Military-Civilian Medical Center, improving healthcare services for residents and visitors and demonstrating the State’s deep care for this historically significant area.

Movements like “Repaying Gratitude,” “Remembering the Source,” as well as literary and journalistic creation campaigns, special history lessons in schools, and online contests such as “Proud of Vietnam” have spread patriotism in lively, engaging, and effective ways.

In parallel, efforts to counter misinformation, defend the ideological foundation of the Party, maintain political stability, and uphold social order have been reinforced, particularly in the context of a complex and multi-dimensional information environment on digital platforms.

After this meaningful commemorative period, the revolutionary spirit, determination, and glorious tradition have become even stronger driving forces for Ba Ria – Vung Tau to confidently advance into a new development phase. By 2045, Con Dao is projected to become a top-tier ecological–spiritual–historical tourism center, while Ba Ria – Vung Tau continues leveraging its strengths in seaports, industry, services, and modern agriculture.

The spirit of April 30 is not only a glorious memory but also a powerful force for today and the future. Looking back after 50 years, Ba Ria – Vung Tau has proudly upheld its traditions, harnessed its potential, maintained political stability, and accelerated socio-economic growth.
