The first quarter of 2012 has passed and the global recession has been badly affecting business activities. However, there have been bright spots in Vietnam logistics sector.

The province, with its potentials and advantages, is aiming to a target of building a system of logistics service of international standard. The logistics survey to Japan of the delegation of Ba Ria – Vung Tau leaders showed the determination. Another bright spot of Vietnam air cargo in 2012 is the opening of the new route Vietnam – Kuala Lumpur by MASKargo.

The use of IT applications is now a new trend in logistics sector, but also an urgent need of the sector. The internet has had great influence to global economy. The more accessible and accurate the information, the quicker decisions can be made.
