Context and Momentum

The rise of manufacturing in Southeast Asia—especially in Vietnam, where supply chains are increasingly complete, investment incentives are attractive, and a “golden” demographic structure prevails—is creating strong demand for smart, digital logistics solutions. Pillars of Cooperation

Under the agreement, the two sides will strengthen coordination along three core axes:

  • Demand connection across the business ecosystem - from equipment manufacturers and solution providers to implementation and operations units;
  • Market expansion in Vietnam and China through promotion activities, partner matchmaking, and co-development of distribution channels;
  • Technology sharing to accelerate digital transformation, automation, and logistics operations optimization.

The overarching goal is to bolster mutual support and speed up high-quality growth of digital and intelligent logistics within the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

2026 Exhibition Highlight

Within this cooperation framework, GZLPA announced the Digitalization & AI Guangzhou, China 2026 Exhibition. The dedicated Logistics Equipment zone alone will cover 40,000 m² across four major sections, bringing the total event footprint to 70,000 m². The show will present a seamless vision of “smart factory + smart logistics,” while creating ample partner-seeking space for supply-chain stakeholders.

Leveraging the industrial strengths of the Greater Bay Area, the 2026 exhibition is designed as a premier international platform for digitalization and AI - showcasing new technologies, models, and achievements, and expanding supply - chain partner networks for companies both within and beyond China. With scale, structure, and ecosystem parameters already outlined at the press briefing, the 2026 event is expected to be a pan-Asian hub for industrial digitalization in the first half of 2026.

Significance for Businesses in Both Countries

The GZLPA - Navitic agreement does more than build a market “bridge.” It provides a lever for: Vietnamese companies to access equipment solutions, digital platforms, and implementation know-how from Chinese providers more rapidly; Chinese enterprises to better understand Vietnam’s local needs, service standards, and operating models - shortening time-to-market; Both sides to co-pilot and fine-tune solutions in real-world scenarios, improving ROI while reducing deployment risks.
