ICD Tan Cang Song Than: Warmth and Solidarity at the Border

In celebration of the 67th anniversary of the Border Guard Force’s Traditional Day and the 37th anniversary of the All-People’s Border Defense Day (March 3), on March 1 a delegation from ICD Tan Cang Song Than Joint Stock Company (Corps 20 – Saigon Newport Corporation) took part in the “All-People’s Border Defense Day Festival” held in Dak O Commune, Dong Nai Province.

The delegation was led by Senior Colonel Vu Thi Lan Anh, Party Committee Secretary and Chairwoman of the Company’s Board of Directors. Joining her were Lieutenant Colonel Tran Tri Dung, the Company’s Director, members of the Board of Management, and representatives of mass organizations.

Guided by a sustainable development approach closely linked to social responsibility, ICD Tan Cang Song Than not only focuses on improving the quality of its logistics services but also consistently prioritizes social welfare activities, contributing to the strengthening of an all-people border defense posture.

At the event, the Company presented practical and meaningful gifts, including: participation in the “Free Ao Dai” booth program; a donation of VND 50 million to support the construction of a production and self-supply area for officers and soldiers of the Dak O Border Guard Post; the presentation of 15 gift packages (each worth VND 1 million) to students under the program “Supporting Students to School – Adopted Children of the Border Guard Post”; and support for livelihood models for disadvantaged households in the commune.

These activities provided not only material assistance but also significant moral encouragement, helping frontline officers and soldiers stay confident and committed in their duties, while further enhancing the image of “Tan Cang people – an enterprise of Uncle Ho’s soldiers” in the hearts of local residents.

During the mission, the delegation also visited a border marker, gaining firsthand insights into the living conditions and working environment of officers and soldiers at the Dak O Border Guard Post. The experience helped raise awareness among ICD Tan Cang Song Than’s staff and employees, further nurturing their sense of responsibility in safeguarding territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new context.
