Your role

The Solutions Manager works as part of the Business Development and Solutions team, and your role will be to lead the development of new warehouse designs and transport modelling assignments, and to develop new and enhanced logistics solutions for its customers. Typically, the Solutions Manager will lead a small team of analysts and engineers who will design new, industry-leading warehouse designs and/or transport network designs and, in order to devise those solutions, your role will include:

• Developing commercially compelling, industry-leading solutions
• Interacting directly with customers from initial data collections stage through to final presentation
• Continually developing your and your team’s knowledge of your sector expertise
• Managing the ongoing development of your team of Solutions Analysts

Your experience

Candidates for the Solutions Manager role will be expected to have proven experience in the design, development and delivery of a range of warehouse and/or transport solutions, ideally multi-sector.

You may well possess a degree or a logistics qualification, and currently operating in a similar Solutions Manager role. Additionally, you will be:

• An accomplished designer of new warehouse solutions
• Knowledgeable regarding warehouse layouts, methods and processes
• Perhaps an expert in a sector – automotive, aerospace, fmcg, technology, or similar
• A good communicator – with both customers and staff
• Influential and persuasive
• Able to demonstrate an aptitude with data analysis, data manipulation and solutions modelling
• Highly competent in the use of analytical and modelling tools
