ROBOTEX 2026 and Vietnam’s Factory Automation Turning Point
English - Ngày đăng : 16:13, 07/07/2026
From electronics, precision engineering, food processing and textiles to logistics and e-commerce, demand for industrial robots, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), artificial intelligence (AI), smart warehouse systems and smart factory solutions is growing strongly. What was once considered a “trend of the future” is now becoming a practical requirement for enterprises seeking to maintain competitiveness in global supply chains.
This shift is not driven solely by technological advancement. It also reflects mounting pressure on Vietnam’s manufacturing sector. Rising labour costs, shorter delivery timelines, stricter quality and traceability standards, and the continuing restructuring of global supply chains are forcing businesses to look for automation solutions that can improve productivity, optimise costs and strengthen their ability to adapt to market volatility.

In this context, enterprises are no longer asking, “Should we invest in robots?” The more practical question today is: “Which technologies can create immediate operational efficiency?”
That is why industrial robotics, production automation and AI are increasingly seen as foundational pillars for Vietnam’s next stage of industrial development.
Vietnam Enters an Acceleration Phase in Smart Manufacturing
In recent years, Vietnam’s processing and manufacturing sector has continued to serve as a key growth engine of the national economy. It is also one of the sectors attracting a significant share of foreign direct investment. Industries such as electronics, mechanical engineering, automotive, logistics, food processing and high technology are expanding production capacity, helping position Vietnam as an increasingly important link in regional and global supply chains.
Alongside the global supply chain shift, manufacturing enterprises are facing higher expectations in productivity, quality, data traceability and the flexibility of production lines. Against this backdrop, investment in industrial robots, automation, AI and smart factory models is becoming an inevitable direction to enhance competitiveness and support sustainable development.
This orientation is also consistent with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, which identifies science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as key drivers for improving labour productivity, national competitiveness and the development of high-tech industries. These strategic directions are creating a favourable foundation for the growth of industrial robotics, AI in manufacturing, automation, smart logistics and enterprise digital transformation in the coming years.
ROBOTEX 2026 – A Comprehensive Picture of the Next-Generation Factory
Within this context, the Vietnam Robotics & Smart Factory Expo 2026, or ROBOTEX 2026, has been launched as a new specialised exhibition focusing on industrial robotics, AI, factory automation and smart manufacturing solutions.

The exhibition will take place from July 30 to August 1, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, within the framework of the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition 2026, or VILOG 2026. The event is organised under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with support from the Agency of Foreign Trade, and co-organised by the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA) and VINEXAD, a UFI member.
Unlike many exhibitions that mainly focus on equipment, ROBOTEX aims to present the operational ecosystem of a modern factory. Its scope covers industrial robots, collaborative robots, AGVs, AMRs, AI vision, manufacturing execution systems, warehouse management systems, smart warehouses, factory automation, smart logistics and data management platforms for production.
When robots are connected with logistics, the value of automation expands beyond the production floor.
The development of industrial robots, AI and data management platforms is changing how modern factories operate. Robots are no longer limited to performing production tasks. They are increasingly involved in material handling, warehouse management, quality control and end-to-end data connectivity across the supply chain.

Recognising this trend, ROBOTEX Vietnam 2026 will be held concurrently with VILOG 2026, creating an integrated ecosystem that connects smart manufacturing with logistics. This provides businesses with an opportunity to access solutions and partners across the entire value chain, from production and warehousing to transportation and distribution, within the same exhibition space.
Meeting the Right Customers and Connecting with Real Investment Needs
The distinct value of ROBOTEX Vietnam 2026 lies not only in showcasing new robotics and automation technologies, but also in its ability to connect exhibitors directly with target customer groups.
Together with VILOG 2026, the exhibition will bring together enterprises operating factories, distribution centres, warehouses, seaports and large-scale logistics networks, including Gemadept, ITL Corporation, Transimex, Vinafco, Bee Logistics, NPL Logistics, Long An Port, Daifuku Intralogistics Vietnam, as well as many international companies from Japan, the United States, China, Singapore and Thailand.
These are businesses with active needs to invest in or expand robotics, AGV and AMR systems, smart warehouses, automation and digital transformation solutions in manufacturing. As a result, the exhibition is expected to create a practical and high-value business matching environment for technology enterprises.
The presence of these companies reflects the growing convergence between manufacturing technology and logistics. These two fields were once viewed as separate links in the value chain, but they are now increasingly operating on the same foundation of data, automation and connected systems.
More Than a Technology Exhibition, a Place to Find Answers for Factories
What enterprises are looking for today is not simply a new robot or a more advanced piece of equipment. They need solutions that can reduce machine downtime, optimise human resources, improve productivity, lower logistics costs and enhance their capacity to respond to orders in a constantly changing market.

This is also the value that ROBOTEX 2026 aims to deliver: a platform that connects manufacturing companies, technology providers, technical experts and investors, enabling ideas about smart factories to be translated into practical projects.
In the transformation process of Vietnamese industry, robots will not replace humans. Instead, robots will change the way people operate factories, manage data and organise production. Enterprises that begin this journey earlier will have a better opportunity to secure competitive advantages in global supply chains.
ROBOTEX 2026 is therefore more than an exhibition. It reflects a new stage of Vietnam’s industrial development, where technology, innovation and automation are becoming the foundation for sustainable growth.
ROBOTEX 2026 Brings Together Leading Brands in Robotics, Automation and Smart Logistics
With the advantage of being organised within the framework of VILOG, the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition, ROBOTEX 2026 will gather prominent enterprises and brands in industrial robotics, automated warehousing, material handling equipment, smart storage solutions and modern supply chain technologies.
• Daifuku Intralogistics Vietnam is a leading global brand in intralogistics, conveyor systems, automated warehouses and smart factory operation solutions.
