III. CONTENT

1. CONTEST’S NAME

THE 1^ST AFFA LOGISTICS PHOTO CONTEST IN VIETNAM 2019

2. CONTENT

- Photos taking part in the contest should have values both in terms of content and of artistic features describing activities in the fields of logistics in Vietnam and in other Southeast Asian countries. The activities include:

• Service users: import-export enterprises, shippers...

• Logistics service providers: customs brokerage, multi-modal transport service, sea way, road, airway, local water way, cross-border transport, warehousing services, last mile delivery, e-commerce...

• Logistics infrastructures: bridges, roads, airports, seaports, gateways, ICDs, logistics centers...

• Institutions and policies serving logistics sector developments: activities of research, training, conference, communications, codes and documents related to the sector. - There is no limitation in the number of photos sent to the contest.

- Each photographer can use only one name to register to the contest (full name with Vietnamese accents); those who prefer artistic names should have their real name included.

IV. SCHEDULE

- RECEIVING PHOTOS: 16/07/2019 - 16/10/2019

- JUDGING: 18/10/2019 - 23/10/2019

- ANNOUNCING RESULTS: 25/10/2019

- AWARDS CEREMONY: 30/11/2019

• All participants can take part in the contest.

(excluding members of the Board of Organization and of the Jury)

VI. REGULATIONS

• Taking part in the contest means participant accepts all regulations of the contest.

• Pictures must not show notes, signatures or any identifying marks. The violation will result in direct elimination without any notice.

• The Board of Organization is eligible to use participating photographic files for purposes of promotion and propaganda related to the contest without paying any other fee, except the royalty fee paid for exhibition (if any).

•The Board of Organization is exempted from responsibilities for cases of loss or missing when participants did not send their works in accordance to regulations.

• Participants have to be responsibility for the copyright of their works. The Board of Organization will be exempt from any disputes related to copyright of the works.

• Participants who win the awards of whose photos are displayed will be required to send high definition photographic files of large size suitably for purposes of printing and exhibition display

VII. REGULATIONS ON PHOTOS SENT TO THE CONTEST

• The photos will be uploaded on the website: www.affalogisticsphotocontest.com

• The photos should be digital files format of jpg, with minimum length of 1920 pixels and with the resolution of 300 dpi.

• Photographic files are named with Alphabet letters (capital or normal letters); no special symbol as æ, ø, å..., proper names or addresses are allowed.

• Participating photos have not won any awards or displayed in any international contest with symbol VN(...) or in any previous national level contests organised by or under the patronage of Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

• Photos irrelevant to content will be eliminated.

• Participating photos should not be free from adding or removing the contents. The Board of Organization reserves the right to ask participants for source files to clarify.

VIII.HOW TO SEND PHOTOS TO PARTICIPATE THE CONTEST

• Send photos directly at the contest website: www.affalogisticsphotocontest.com

• The Board of Organization will not upload any photo for participants.

IX. AWARDS

- 01 First Award: 1,000 USD

- 02 Second Awards: 700 USD/ prize

- 02 Third Awards: 500 USD/ prize

- 02 Impressive Prizes (*): 500 USD/ prize

- 05 Honorable Awards: 300 USD/ prize

(*) Prize for Unprofessional devices

Impressive award is for unprofessional devices, including mobile devices (smartphones, tablets...), compact digital camera, and other devices.
