When warehouse robots are no longer “expensive toys”: Where should companies start?
In just a few years, warehouse robots have moved from “flashy demos” at trade shows to a serious investment category. Global warehouse automation is estimated at around USD 21–24 billion in 2024 and could grow to USD 90–120 billion by the early 2030s, with double-digit annual growth. The market for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in logistics and warehousing alone is valued at roughly USD 4.7 billion in 2024 and projected to exceed USD 24 billion by 2034.
