This has contributed to shaping a favorable investment environment, paving the way for large capital inflows into seaports, green industries, logistics, and new urban projects – laying the foundation for today’s expanded Ho Chi Minh City to reach international stature.

Thanks to significant efforts in administrative reform (AR), Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (BRVT) has been ranked fourth, securing a place in the top five provinces and cities with the highest Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) in 2022 nationwide, scoring 70.26 points, a 5-rank increase compared to 2021. This result propels BRVT to the number one position in the Southeastern region.
