2021 is a difficult year for all fields and social life, as Vietnam had to suffer from the fourth wave of the COVID-19 epidemic- the worst outbreak ever. In addition, there was a global cargo congestions due to the fact many countries worldwide had to close borders, there were sharp fluctuations in international freight rate, and there was also a series of incidents in the field of global transport… These were huge challenges for enterprises operating in the fiels of import-export and cargo transport.

ASL Logistics could not stand aside from these impacts. However, the enterprise knows in any challenges, there were also opportuinites and they determined to changed these difficulties to new opportunities of developments. With experience gained from dealing with the pandemic of COVID-19 in 2020, ASL Logistics put forward suitable effective and creative strategies on business and customer services. ASL has currently been proud of being a pioneer enteprises, meeting professional international standards with full services and with closely linked supply chain including multi-modal international and domestic transport, international freight forwarding in seaway and airway; bulk cargo transport to the U.S, Australia, Singapore, Europe and seaports in the world; customs brokerage, import- export consulting for investors, freight forwarding service to recipients around the world, services of warehousing, packaging and value-added, 3PL integrated forwarding services, domestic cargo transport, project cargo delivery and transport, cross-border transport service to Laos and Cambodia, cold storage.

In December 2021, Vo Thi Phuong Lan - General Director of ASL Logistics was honored to receive the award "Typical Vietnamese businesswoman - Golden Rose Cup" for the second time by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

ASL Logistics has also been member of many trusted organizations and associations of Vietnam and in the world as VLA, HLA, VCCI, FIATA, IATA, WCA… Besides, ASL has achieved the Service Quality Certificate in accordanc to the international quality standard ISO 9001 by Bureau Veritas Quality (BVQI) England since 2008; licenses by Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport since 2012 and many other certifications during years of development.

In 2020, ASL Logistics was honored to be awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Industry and Trade for "Excellent Achievements in contributing to and developing Vietnam's logistics services".

In 2021, ASL was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for excellently completing tasks for two consecutive years 2019 - 2020.

All the above achievements are results from ceaseless efforts of ASL Logistics team over the course of nearly 2 decades, working together towards a strong belief – making ASL a reliable destination for valued customers, and both foreign and local partners.

Process of digital transformation, reaching the future

The Board of Directors of the company is always concerned about the target of customer-centered development: how to bring a great service experience to customers in the coming years. Therefore, in addition to regular training and re-training for all staff through professional courses, ASL Logistics has also organized many more courses on technology applied to practical works, creating a new cultural environment - "culture of digital transformation", and at the same time has had investments in machinery, renewing equipment to improve the overall service quality of the company.

Knowing that digital transformation is a strategic and continuous journey, not merely a destination, in 2021 ASL Logistics has also set its own goals and it has proudly completed a chain of small projects which help to connect all functional parts of the company quickly, improving its efficiency and speeding up completions, aiming at building an ecosystem where customers, partners and ASL staff have quick and effective interactions.

ASL always shares responsibilities with the community - the task that ASL has been pursuing for many years

ASL’s strategy of development not only stops at being a strong brand with high business efficiency but also shares responsibilities with the community- the tastk that ASL has been persueing for many years. In 2021, ASL proactively provided no small amount of money in tho the Fatherland Committee Front's budget of fighting agains the COVID-19 epidemic, sharing burden with the Government in fighting against the epidemic. At the same time, the company jointly mobilized enterprises to support medical equipment to frontline hospitals treating COVID-19 in HCMC and Binh Duong.
