Afternoon of November 20th in Vientiane (Lao People’s Democratic Republic), as part of the Vietnam–Laos Trade Connection and Business Promotion Fair 2025, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP)- Corp 20 under Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defense and Lao–Asia Telecom Company under the Lao Ministry of National Defense held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strategic cooperation in the logistics sector.

On April 2, 2025, at the Shanghai International Port (China), the inauguration ceremony for the express container transport service route Ho Chi Minh City – Shanghai – U.S. West Coast officially took place. This is the result of a strategic cooperation between Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP), Tan Cang Hiep Phuoc Port, and international partners, marking a new milestone for the maritime trade corridor in the Asia-Pacific region.

(VLR) From October 21-26, 2024, in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, the Asia-Pacific Port Services Network (APSN), in collaboration with the Malaysian Maritime Department, hosted its annual series of events with the theme "Green Maritime Corridor." At this event, Colonel Bui Van Quy, Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation, was honored to be re-elected as Chair of the APEC Port Services Network Advisory Council for the 2024-2027 term.

However, the World Bank said Vietnam’s economy was a durable one and the country would ranked 5th in term of economic growth with 2.8% and it would be 6.8% in 2021.
