Investment Conference 2025: Ba Ria - Vung Tau – A Destination of Opportunities and Success

On the morning of May 30, 2025, at The Grand Ho Tram Resort in Xuyen Moc District, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, the Investment Conference 2025 was held under the theme “Choosing Ba Ria - Vung Tau.” The event attracted nearly 500 delegates, including leaders from the Government, ministries, and central and local agencies, along with a large number of domestic and international businesses and investors. Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh attended and delivered a keynote speech.

Ba Ria – Vung Tau (BRVT), as a provincial administrative unit, has been on the map of Vietnam since 1991; however, its history dates back to the late 17th century. In 1698, the Gia Dinh District was established, consisting of two districts, Tan Binh and Phuoc Long, with the Phuoc An sub-district now being part of BRVT province. Today, BRVT is a major growth center of the Southeast region, and Vung Tau City has become a desirable place to live.

The plan envisions a multi-center urban structure with a comprehensive transportation infrastructure, particularly maximizing BRVT's role and position in the key economic region in the South.
