On April 16th, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted the National Logistics Conference. In the event, ministries, sectors, local authorities, associations, and enterprises in various related sectors had a chance to dissect existing matters of Vietnam logistics. There were also many suggestions to the Government on solutions to cut cost, to connect efficiently transport infrastructure systems to improve competition abilities for the country’s economy by logistics activities.

In another event, on April 20th, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted another national conference on removing difficulties in mechanism and policies related to the field of construction and investment. The leader of the Government showed his determination “should point out which office keeps investment construction documents unsolved” and “should point out which decree or resolution affects key national work to solve”. Then, many enterprises represents their difficulties coming from mechanisms, policies, ministries, sectors or management individuals… those who damage investment and construction activities and belief from investors to proper policies from the Party and the Government.

These were two of 15 conferences to be hold this year for sustainable developments and for better business environment for enterprises. Besides efforts to change mechanisms, policies from the Government, each sector, each enterprises should be more active and creative to catch up opportunity and find their own direction, which is one of requirements by PM to associations and enterprises.

VLA identified qualified human resource is a driving force for Vietnam Logistics sector. Solutions as applying vocational education from Aus4Skills sponsored by the Australian government, connecting enterprises to training programs; or facilitating young people’s start up with logistics… We believe our creative, qualified labor source will be formed on time for short-term and long-term demands.
