In the field of culture – history, BR-VT has 30 monuments of national level, 1 of national special level and 13 ones of provincial level; and it houses many festivals having deep coastal cultural characters. Recently, many records in Vung Tau have been affirmed by Asian Record Organization: the statue of Christ on Nui Nho (The biggest statue of Christ in Asia), Con Dao Prison system (a monument of the biggest prison on an island in Asia), and “banh khot Vung Tau” – a Vietnamese dish that wins Asian record. It can be said to be an opportunity to promote the images of people, culture and cuisine of Vietnam in general and of BR-VT in particular.

Besides soaking themselves in the cool water or lying down on the sun-kissed beaches at Vung Tau city or resorts of Long Hai-Phuoc Hai, Ho Tram-Ho Coc, tourists can visit monuments or take part in regional festivals. What is more, why do not you try a shopping tour for special gifts?
