Vietnam is speeding up its economic developments with policies of multi-lateral and bi-lateral cooperation with countries in the region and in the world. Two PM. Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s recent visits to the U.S and Japan open many opportunities of cooperation among Vietnam and leading powerful countries in the world.
In Japan, the two leaders affirmed the importance of the 4 - decade relationship “Vietnam - Japan: Economic Allies”. Besides, Japan is going to replace the U.S in the role of a chord leader in negotiations of a “TPP without the U.S’s participation”. The agreement is expected to bring benefits to its member countries.
In economic operating, the Government has been putting emphasis on the matter of building and improving transport infrastructure - on of the important driving force for country developments: “North - South expressway cannot be put off”, “Long Thanh airport project: Removing bottleneck for speed”, and “Logistics solution for Vietnam railroad development”.
The logistics sector has experienced positive changes. To implement the Project of Improving Vietnam Logistics Activities in accordance to the Decision 200/QĐ - TTg from the PM on developing human resource for the Logistics, Vietnam Logistic Research and Development Institute (VLI), belonging to Vietnam Logistics Association (VLA), presented a new board of leaders with the cooperation from many scientists, and experts in the field of logistics and supply chains, aiming towards sustainable developments and international integration.
In general, with proper policies from the Party and with the Government functioned as a motive force, with the support from the people and business community, it is expected that plans and targets of social-economic developments will soon be successful.
