And from efforts from the Government and businesses, there comes the cherishing hopes of a better coming year: export increased 33%; foreign balance had the surplus equipvalent to 3.3 billion dollars for the first time; Thu Thiem underwater tunnel has connected two banks of Saigon river; and Danang airport terminal , after its many times of delay, has received its passengers half month by Tet holidays… In addition, the commitment to economic restructuring by Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary, on October this year has been considered as positive signals and premise that allows Vietnam economy in general and logistics sector in specific to develop in stability.
With considerable efforts, logistics businesses have been in the spotlight, spearheading the logistic sector to develop and become a crucial part of international trading activities. Besides there have been expectations from the development of Vietnam airlines, from key economic zones, and from the port system of Ba Ria – Vung Tau with its potential and desire - the expectations that are able to brighten the new year as blooming ochnas.
Although there have been many challenges ahead, good signals from logistics sector will be our driving force for us at the beginning of 2012. It is necessary than ever for us to join together for our logistics sector to take a leap in future.
