Carrying nearly 800 upscale passengers from many countries worldwide, the vessel’s arrival marked the first international cruise call at Cam Ranh International Port in Binh Ngo 2026.

The call of Seven Seas Explorer at Cam Ranh International Port was not only a “lucky opening” that kick-started a vibrant series of international cruise receptions for the locality and the enterprise, but also powerfully conveyed the message of a safe, friendly, and culturally rich Vietnam, ready to elevate cruise tourism cooperation in a new era. According to its itinerary, Seven Seas Explorer is operating a 14-night voyage titled “Culinary Escapades in Asia,” departing from Singapore and concluding in Hong Kong with Cam Ranh International Port as one of its regularly selected destinations.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Bui Van Quy - Deputy Commander of Corps 20 and Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation - emphasized: “In 2025, Cam Ranh International Port made a strong impression when it had the honor of welcoming 29 five-star international cruise ships with around 50,000 passengers and crew, becoming a highlight in port operations of Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Co., Ltd.”

Recent operational practice has provided vivid evidence that Cam Ranh International Port has fully mastered procedures for receiving large cruise vessels, including the capability to handle two ships simultaneously or serve vessels on overnight stays. Ensuring absolute safety for these calls has affirmed the port’s modern operating capacity, laying a solid foundation for welcoming even larger next-generation ships in the future. This reflects a high level of professional management and coordination between the port and relevant authorities, while further enhancing Cam Ranh’s appeal to the high-end resort tourism segment.

Based on cruise lines’ registered schedules, the locality is expected to welcome an additional 29 international cruise calls in 2026.

Notably, ship reception has always been organized meticulously, maintaining 100% schedule accuracy with no delays or cancellations. Building on this success, in Binh Ngo 2026 and the years ahead, a series of the world’s most modern international cruise ships have registered to call at Cam Ranh International Port. This positive signal suggests the port will soon become a central destination - an indispensable link on Vietnam’s and the region’s cruise tourism map - thereby further affirming its connecting role, promoting the tourism economy, and maximizing the effectiveness of the “fifth business pillar,” demonstrating the diversity and synchronization of Saigon Newport Corporation’s service ecosystem.
