After five years in operation, Trung Kien Logistics has developed a specialized fleet for tugboat services in the BRVT area. Major enterprises have become notable customers, including Offshore Energy Installation JSC, GLS Shipping Company, and companies within the Tan Cang ecosystem.
The equipment owned by Trung Kien Logistics includes the Minh Hoang 02 tugboat with a capacity of 1,000HP, Minh Hoang 08 with 1,200HP, Minh Hoang 06 with 1,800HP, Minh Hoang 68 with 1,500HP, Minh Hoang 86 with 1,500HP, and the Minh Hoàng 09 speedboat with a capacity of 315HP and seating for 12 people.
Additionally, Trung Kien Logistics has entered into a long-term partnership with Van Tuong Company to charter the Dung Quat 68 tugboat with a capacity of 2,800HP for supporting key wind power projects in 2025.
Trung Kien Logistics has also formed joint ventures to operate mooring buoys and safe transshipment areas, enabling ships with a maximum capacity of 100,000 DWT and barges to anchor for transshipment at Vung Tau, Go Da, and Thieng Lieng areas. The company has partnered with five SB vessels with a capacity of 4,700 - 5,200 DWT, three additional vessels with a capacity of 7,500 - 10,000 DWT, and two floating cranes with capacities of 60 tons and 75 tons. Their equipment also includes 14 excavators with dual functions (excavating and grading) and large buckets (two sizes larger than standard), four 8-cubic-meter grabs, and six 6-cubic-meter grabs (used for maritime vessels).
In terms of showcasing its capabilities in this field, one notable project in 2021 was Trung Kien Logistics' completion of the wind power equipment transport project for the Thanh Hai 1 Wind Power Plant project (Thanh Hai Commune, Thanh Phu District, Ben Tre Province).
On 02 Sept 2024, Trung Kien Logistics has been successfully carried out the transportation of two STS Mitsui QC33 and QC35 cranes, each weighing 803 tons with a height of 56 meters, width of 27 meters, and length of 90 meters, through the SG-VT maritime channel delivered Long Son International port for customer. This successful project marked a significant leap forward for Trung Kien Logistics in the field of super-heavy cargo transportation via domestic waterways using barges with a capacity of up to 10,200 tons.
