(Vietnam Logistics Review)
The Vietnam logistics sector has been considered the sector that gives remarkable influence to competition abilities of the country’s economy. Recent events of the sector has confirmed the matter: decision 200/QĐ-TTg dated February 14th on Action Plan to Upgrade Competition Abilities and Develop Vietnam Logistics Sector to 2025 approved and VLA’s launching ceremony of Action Plan in Accordance to the Decision. This will be a great driving force for the Vietnam logistics sector in the coming time.
Especially, “From Busan- Gyeonggi-do to Seoul: A Supply Chain… Come and Remember!”-the business trip to Korea of the delegation of logistics service enterprises - VLA members and VLR magazine in the last April, invited by Korea International Freight Forwarders Association, showed the determination of global connecting in VLA’s action plan for the new era. Cutting-edge sea port system, modern logistics system, respectful warm welcome by the authority impressed us.
Besides, there are good signals for the Vietnam’s economy. The export turnover in the first four months increased (the national turnover reached about USD 52.51bn on April 15th, 2017- an increase of 13.9% year-over-year). Industry 4.0 gives Vietnam’s young people opportunities to start work: more labor export to Japan- the potential labor market due to the shortage of employees will help to train a high-tech labor force for the country in the time to come…
More opportunities… but how to catch them depends much on guideline policies by the Government and the spirit of learning, creativity and determination of “dare to try” of the young labor force’s.
On the International Labor Day, VLR would like to send best wishes to the labor force nationwide. We hope to have a prosperous Vietnam with the creative, knowledgeable labor force.
