Doosan Vina’s quarantine area with 84 fully equipped rooms to ensure employees’ health

The COVID-19 pandemic is taking place very dangerously and unpredictably, seriously affecting the production and business activities of many businesses in Viet Nam. In the spirit of solidarity and efforts to overcome all challenges, Doosan Vina has actively implemented the dual goal of both strengthening the epidemic measures and ensuring the production activities.

Over the pandemic measures

In addition to strengthening propaganda, reminding its company and subcontractors’ employees to seriously implement the 5K principle on the company's broadcast channels such as radio and TV daily, the company also adds propaganda twice a day at the main gate and on the shuttle buses; Measure temperature, disinfect before boarding the bus and entering the company; Limit business trips to epidemic areas; Install partitions at 3 main restaurants and divide dining shifts; Cut half of the number of people on each bus; Require customers/partners to present a negative test report within 72 hours when entering the company; Coordinated with state agencies to vaccinate the first injection for 700 employees; Conducted RT_PCR test for those who commute or live in the epidemic center; Tested SARS CoV-2 antigens for more than 1,900 company and subcontractors’ employees. All test samples were negative.

Besides, Doosan Vina has ready set up the “three on-site” (eating, staying, and working at the company) for a thousand employees to respond to the emergency cases as the epidemic spreads widely in the area; Set up a separate quarantine area at the block A of the company’s dormitory with 84 fully equipped rooms to ensure employees’ health.

Over the production

Thanks to the unanimity and determination to join hands to fight the epidemic, the Doosan Vina’s production chain is taking place at normal. A total of nearly 3,000 employees are currently manufacturing for several projects to supply for domestic and foreign customers such as Van Phong 1 Thermal Power Plant, Gemalink unit 7 & 8, Jawa Thermal Power 9 & 10, Sarawak, Heurtey Heater Radian Section, and other projects.

The Doosan Vina’s production workload is maintained

Since the beginning of the year, Doosan Vina has exported and delivered 18,000 tons of products to Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam, contributing to improving the province's export turnover and the stability of social security as creating stable jobs and income for nearly 3,000 employees, of which more than 80% are local people.
