DIFFICULTIES FROM LABORERS

Employees operating in the logistics seem to be affected in different ways in diffculties from the pandemic: many lost their jobs; some suffered from diseases and limitations as tight managements in the time of the epidemic. They had to undergo medical check-ups, and a lot of paperwork, which makes transport slow and costs higher.

After the pandemic, customers seem familiar with online ordering and home delivery. If before the pandemic, ‘logistics’ was still a strange word, but now, customers not only in Vietnam and all over the world know clearly about it.

This is an advantage but also a big challenge for transport, especially delivery men, they need good health, technology skills and are able to apply technology in locating address, receiving orders from applications. In some European countries, UAVs or automatic trucks have been used for last-mile delivery instead of delivery men.
