A Flourishing Landscape: From Tradition to Modernity
Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2025 will open from January 27 to February 2, 2025 (from the 28th day of the lunar month to the 5th day of Tet), stretching across the central axis of Ho Chi Minh City with over 109,000 vibrant flower arrangements.
The street is divided into three distinct segments, each conveying a profound message:
- Unity: Recreating images of a resilient nation overcoming the hardships of war to gain independence. Green bamboo clusters, symbols of life and endurance, are interspersed with vivid floral displays.
- Transformation: Depicting the country's dramatic growth through grand landscapes like terraced fields and modern lighting, blending tradition with global integration.
- Development: The central area, featuring the statue of President Ho Chi Minh, serves as a symbol of trust and sustainable progress, marking the 50-year journey of national unity.
This floral space is not merely for admiration but a proud reminder of the nation’s enduring values.
The Year of the Snake Mascot: A Unique and Sustainable Icon
The mascot of the Year of the Snake (At Ty) is designed with groundbreaking creativity and made from environmentally friendly materials:
- Kim Snake and Silver Snake: The two main mascots at the entrance captivate visitors with lengths of 42m and 25m, crafted from over 6,000 reflective mica scales. These mascots shimmer in daylight and glow under LED lights at night, symbolizing harmony and development through the contrast of Kim Snake's strength and Silver Snake's elegance.
- The Graceful Snake: Stretching 50m in length and over 10m in height, this mascot is crafted from steel, foam, and fine mesh. Embodying the gentle beauty of a Southern girl with a traditional scarf and conical hat, it conveys both charm and dignity.
Smaller snake mascots appear in mini-scenes like "The Snake at the Festival" and "The Snake Companion," creating a cheerful and approachable atmosphere for all ages.
Artful Displays: Masterful Creations
This year’s Flower Street elevates artistic expression with elaborate and imaginative displays:
- Spring Drops from the Earth: Inspired by stalactite caves, this display features thousands of woven bamboo sheets illuminated by unique lighting effects, creating a mystical and serene atmosphere.
- Spring Celebration Dance: A stylized depiction of lush green forests, crafted from foam and painted bamboo, adorned with glowing spheres, creating a dazzling nighttime spectacle.
- Metro Train: A symbol of modern innovation, this display celebrates the launch of Ho Chi Minh City’s first metro line, marking a solid step into a new era.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2025 also serves as a convergence point for global cultures. The participation of consulates from 10 countries, including the United States, Russia, China, South Korea, and Thailand, offers diverse perspectives on traditional Tet celebrations through unique designs.
