Potential for logistics development in Ha Tinh
According to Ha Tinh’s development plan for 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, logistics services have been identified as a key sector driving socio-economic development. Ha Tinh’s favorable geographical location and strong infrastructure are key advantages for the province to leverage in developing logistics services, facilitating goods transit, and attracting investment.
During the 2024-2025 period, Ha Tinh has been implementing various policies to enhance logistics activities and import-export operations. Container shipping lines, bulk cargo services, and logistics operations for major projects within and outside the province are being prioritized for development.
Affirming heavy cargo handling capabilities
The successful reception and handling of large-scale wind power equipment from the PACIFIC INTEGRITY vessel marks a significant milestone for Vung Ang Port and SNP Logistics in providing services for renewable energy projects. To ensure the project's safety and timeline, Vung Ang Port’s team meticulously prepared by planning cargo handling operations, designing suitable transport routes, and utilizing specialized machinery. The seamless coordination and high level of expertise ensured the project was completed on schedule with absolute safety.
Contributing to sustainable development in logistics and renewable energy
The success of handling and transporting wind power equipment not only contributes to achieving the logistics development goals of Ha Tinh but also promotes the renewable energy sector, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, this project creates numerous job opportunities for local people, supporting sustainable development in the region.
The partnership between Saigon Newport Corporation and Vung Ang Port is expected to expand further in the near future, particularly in providing logistics services for other renewable energy projects. This aligns with the goal of making Ha Tinh a logistics hub for the North Central region, as outlined in the province’s development plan up to 2050.
