Organizing alliance: Greater Bay Area strengths, global reach

Rooted domestically, expanding globally

For 2026, the Organizing Committee will emphasize domestic connections with the Guangdong Robotics Association and leading enterprises such as Guangzhou Industry Group and Guangzhou Digital Technology Group. Focus areas include new energy, smart equipment components, industrial IoT, intelligent robotics, digital infrastructure, the low-altitude economy, and AI applications.

At the same time, the Expo will work closely with foreign embassies and chambers of commerce in China to invite delegations of companies from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Indonesia, Malaysia (RCEP members), Brazil, and Mexico, thereby achieving the effect of “domestic convergence – international outreach.”

Professional endorsement from industry associations

The event is supported by the China Aviation Industry Association as a guiding body. During the press conference, the Guangzhou Spatial Information & IoT Association, the Guangzhou New Materials Industry Development Association, and the Guangzhou Yuexiu District AI Industry Association formally signed on to participate in the Expo, reinforcing both the ecosystem linkages and the professional credibility of the program.

Asia’s digital & AI trade platform in 2026

Building on the industrial clusters of the Greater Bay Area, the Expo aims to become an international platform for exchange and cooperation in digitalization and AI. It will showcase new technologies, models, and achievements while opening up supply chain partnership opportunities for enterprises inside and outside China. With its scale, structure, and partner ecosystem already confirmed at the press conference, the 2026 edition is expected to become Asia’s premier digital industry gathering in the first half of the year.
