Phuoc An Port – Strategic Location, Exceptional Potential
Located on the Thi Vai River in Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province, Phuoc An Port enjoys a strategic position with effective connectivity to Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, and key industrial zones in the southern economic region. With the capability to receive container ships of up to 4,500 TEU and a designed handling capacity of 5 million TEU annually, the port is expected to become a key logistics hub – an extended arm of Tan Cang – Cat Lai Port and the deep-water ports at Cai Mep.
SITC is the pioneering shipping line to dock its SITC MINHE vessel at the port, handling 400 TEU of cargo, marking the beginning of a new logistics chain between the two ports and demonstrating the feasibility and growth potential of this collaborative model.
